This case study shows how senior-level intervention can transform a struggling global HR MDM program into a solid, structured, business-led and well-governed initiative by restoring alignment between HR, IT and software vendors, and by refocusing decisions on operational value rather than technology alone.

DigitalRum was one of the first European software publishers to build a truly transactional price comparison engine, connected in real time to major retailers such as Darty, FNAC, La Redoute and others, as well as to French and European payment systems. It relied on a unique white-label architecture for national telecom operators, with an unprecedented level of security and systems integration.

Initially won and then taken away for political reasons after my company was acquired by a financial group seen as a competitor, this critical regulatory MDM program was ultimately assigned back to me when the project drifted to the point of threatening the banking group's prudential obligations. By taking full control of the program, I restructured, stabilized and delivered one of the most sensitive and complex MDM projects in the European banking sector.

One of the world's largest hospitality companies wanted to modernize its cloud landing zone and rethink its digital factory. By redesigning the architecture and ways of working, and by creating the first Experience-Based Acceleration in the group's history, we deeply transformed how workloads were designed, delivered and secured. The result was a major success that became a new internal standard.

A major French online bank, part of a long-established banking group, wanted to move away from traditional methods and become a cloud-native, agile and innovative organization. By supporting C-level leaders, technical teams and middle management, we built a modern, industrialized cloud culture able to demonstrate clear technological superiority over the parent group and new digital competitors.

A major European e-commerce player launched a deep transformation of its Data Factory to move beyond siloed operations and restore an integrated, governed, business-oriented model. In one year, data regained its strategic role through the rollout of full governance, a dedicated SAFe train and a reorganization centered on business value. A transformation that usually takes years was delivered here in record time.

One of Belgium's largest pharmaceutical groups launched an exceptionally complex MDM program: tracing full lineage from molecule to patient, harmonizing multi-site and multi-country data, meeting international regulatory requirements, and securing sensitive operational history. Delivering this MDM required several years of program leadership, an onshore, nearshore and offshore operating model, strict governance and continuous political steering.

One of the world's largest industrial groups, active in offshore engineering, infrastructure construction, subsea operations, pipe-laying vessels, and the manufacturing of tubes, cables and platforms, launched a global multi-domain MDM program to unify its critical data. Sponsored by the CEO, the program aimed to solve the long-standing inability to produce reliable global reporting. The rollout created a single source of truth, aligned several continents and overcame major internal political resistance.

One of the world's leading video game companies launched a deep transformation of its production factories across mobile, PC and console, long organized in silos with heterogeneous methods and complex cross-continent coordination. Through a structured approach inspired by modern cloud methodologies and a series of international workshops involving dozens of experts, the company defined a multi-year action plan to modernize production, streamline collaboration and improve release synchronization.

A European leader in B2B distribution modernized its CRM, rescued a failing European product PIM/MDM initiative, and launched a continent-scale Data Quality program to improve customer data reliability across tens of thousands of companies. This three-part transformation modernized customer relationship management, harmonized the product master and established industrial-grade data quality across the group.
